Hampden Township participates in a comprehensive recycling program in accordance with state law. Hampden Township's recycling rate for 2019 was 20.10%. This is the percentage of all trash collected that is recycled.

There will be $10.00 charge for replacement recycling containers (22 gallon, green bins used prior to the toter carts) which may be purchased at the Township Municipal Building.

Collection is once a week on your normal collection day. Please have your items at the curbside no later than 6:30 a.m. on the day of collection but not earlier than 6 p.m. the night prior to your collection day.
