Bulk Item Pickup

Per the current residential trash contract, residents are entitled to schedule the collection of one bulk item to be picked up by the trash contractor.  Items that qualify as bulk items include furniture and appliances (if refrigerator or freezer, door must be removed).

Bulk items must be scheduled in advance directly with Waste Management.

Upholstered furniture and mattresses must be wrapped in plastic prior to collection for health/safety reasons.

Waste Management uses a separate truck for bulk item collection. Regular trash and recyclable trucks are not able to collect bulk items.
