Adopt-A-Highway Program

Civic, social and school groups, businesses and individuals at least 18 years old can help reduce the amount of litter along Hampden roads and in recreation areas by participating in the Township's Adopt-a-Highway program. Under the program, volunteers pick up litter in Township-supplied bags using Township-supplied safety equipment. The bags are left at roadside and picked up by the Public Works Department. The volunteers are required to adopt a highway, a portion of one, an interchange area or a recreation area for at least one year. Litter must be picked up twice a year, in April and October.

As a reminder, if you desire or your association desires to participate in the Township's Adopt-A-Highway Program, please feel free to download an application located below.
