Registration Procedures
All recreation programs and trips need paid for at the time of registration. This can be accomplished many ways:

: Register by phone with payment of credit card (761-4951)
Mail
: Mail a check to 209 S. Sporting Hill Rd. Mechanicsburg, PA 17050
Walk In
: We're located at 5001 Hampden Park Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express.
Drop Box
: There is a drop box outside the front of the Recreation Department for payments and registration forms.
Internet Registration
: Online registration is available for most programs and pool memberships by visiting the Recreation Department's Online Registration page.
The Hampden Township Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration. A full refund will be given.
REFUND POLICY FOR PROGRAMS
For programs withdrawn from at least one week prior to start of program, all fees will be refunded minus a transaction fee of 7%.
In the case of cancellation before the second class, an administrative fee equal to one day's participation per person will be withheld from the refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the second class.
REFUND POLICY FOR BUS TRIPS
Cancellation for bus trips must be made at lease one month prior to the trip to receive a refund, minus the non-refundable security deposit, unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be granted if a cancellation is made less than one month before the bus trip, unless a replacement can be found.
REFUND POLICY FOR RENTALS
Cancellation for rentals of facilities must be made two weeks prior to your rental to receive a refund, minus the non-refundable security deposit.
If your event is needed to be canceled due to inclement weather, you can reschedule or request a refund.
SNOW POLICY
The Hampden Township Parks and Recreation Department follows the following guidelines in the event of inclement weather:
1. If Cumberland Valley School District announces a one or two hour delay- all recreation programs starting before 10 a.m. are cancelled.
2. If Cumberland Valley School District announces an early dismissal- all evening ( 12 noon - 10 p.m.) recreation programs are cancelled.
If Cumberland Valley School District announces an all day school closing- all recreation programs will be cancelled for that day.
3. If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, your instructor will inform you of a make-up at your next class.
Participants may also call the Recreation Office at 717-761-4951 to hear a prerecorded message regarding cancellations during non-business hours.
