Hampden Recreation Reopening

At a public meeting on May 27, 2021; the Hampden Township Board of Commissioners made the following decisions regarding Recreation Department and Pool Operations.

  • On June 1st, the Hampden Recreation Department will re-open to the public for face to face business.

     

  • Individuals who are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a face covering at either the Hampden Pool, or the Recreation Department.
  • Public rentals of the Recreation Community room will resume beginning June 1.

     

  • Fredricksen Library services for pick up and drop off of Cumberland County Library resources have resumed. 

     

  • Hampden Residents that need updated or new Resident ID cards are asked to email a headshot to [email protected], along with their full name, birthdate, address and phone number. (Headshot size no larger than 1MB, and must be a jpg format.) The Recreation Department will then notify the Resident when their card is ready to be picked up.At that time, the Resident will need to provide proof of residency. Individuals who do not have the capability to email a photo may stop in to the Recreation Department to have their picture taken, however their card may be processed at a separate time.

     

  • The pool will begin to sell daily admission starting June 5th.

     

  • Members who only purchased memberships because Daily Admissions were not offered will be eligible to request a refund (full and pro-rated) until 6/15.
