The Public Works Department, with a total of 47 full-time employees, facilitates and stream-lines routine maintenance operations throughout the Township. Additionally, the Department continues to reduce costs and provide the much needed manpower support for larger, Township-wide projects, as well as responding to various requests from residents.
The Department is comprised of three divisions - the Fleet Division, Maintenance Division and the Wastewater Division. A total of 41 highly trained, competent personnel work within these three divisions. Staff receives training on various topics, such as Right to Know, Flagging, training on the operations of various pieces of equipment, CPR and First Aid.
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
The Administrative staff is responsible for overseeing all Department contract specifications, equipment purchases, submission of various grants, and overseeing construction projects. Staff is also responsible for administering the Township's traffic signal maintenance program.
