Sewer Replacement Project Work Commences
Posted on 05/20/2021
EK Services was awarded a project to replace sanitary sewer mains and laterals at various locations in the Township.  Generally, work will be completed in specific areas of Delbrook Manor, Good Hope Farms, Salem Church Road, the Carlisle Pike and Sporting Hill Road.  Work will not be occurring throughout the entire development or along the entire stretch of roadway, only in areas where the sewer mains need replaced.

Work will start Sunday, May 23rd at the intersection of Carlisle Pike and Oak Avenue.  Work in this area will be performed at night between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Work on the Carlisle Pike is anticipated to be completed by May 28th.  Additional information regarding construction schedules in other areas will be shared immediately when available.  Residents and businesses, in the area of the project, will be individually notified a few days before work commences in their area.

During construction, temporary street and or lane closures may be required resulting in minor delays, however, access to driveways and to school buses, trash trucks, postal services and first responders will be maintained at all times.

Sanitary sewer service will be maintained at all times throughout the project.
