Zoning Hearing Board
The Hampden Township Zoning Hearing Board meets to hear requests, usually from developers or landowners, for relief from the Hampden Township Zoning Ordinance on such matters as setbacks, lot size, etc. When necessary, they also hear appeals from people who believe the Zoning Officer has misinterpreted the ordinance.

Any application for relief to the Hampden Township Zoning Hearing Board must be filed with the Zoning Officer no later than 4:30 p.m. on the Friday following the previous month's Zoning Hearing Board meeting. Applications received after the deadline date will be scheduled for hearing at the regular Board meeting on the second month following the date of filing.
