Veterans Park Project Update

Visitors to the Hampden Township Veterans Park will notice that there is currently some park development taking place.  Please note, that due to the construction of a new pavilion and restroom, the lower parking lot is currently closed.  The park remains open to the public, but parking will only be available in the upper lot until the construction is complete. Please be mindful of construction equipment when visiting the park. The project is scheduled to conclude by early July.  The project, partially funded by DCNR's Community Conservation Partnerships Program, consists of the addition of three gazebos, a small pavilion with a restroom, two additional flag poles, LED lighting for the flag poles, railings for the stream crossing, and paved connectors to the new amenities.
