Prescription Pill BottlesThe Police Department has modified its drug take back service.  Previously, residents could drop off unwanted or unused drugs or medications at our take-back box located in the police lobby.  Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the police lobby remains closed however in a effort to continue to support our community with valued services, our Drug Take-Back program is being offered again with a new process.

Residents will be able to drop off their unwanted or unused medications Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00am and 3:300 pm.

Residents may surrender these medications by:

1.  Coming to the Police Entrance, entering the vestibule and reading the sign on the door.

2.  From the vestibule, pick up the phone and dial extension 200. A staff member will answer and meet you.

3.  The staff member will direct you to drop your medications in a bag held by the staff member.

4.  The staff member will then take your medications inside and dispose of them according to Department policy.

Residents will not be permitted to enter the police lobby and should remain in the vestibule.

The program may be expanded to include more dates and times based on demand.  This notice will be updated with any expansion of dates and times.

We do not accept liquids or syringes (sharps) as part of this program.  Bags including these items will be refused and the resident will be required to remove the prohibited items before accepting other medications.
