Instead of purchasing the yearly license, a dog owner can apply for a Lifetime Dog License.  There are two options available to obtain the Lifetime Dog License.  The dog owner chooses either a tattoo number to be placed on the inner part of the dog's right hind leg or the implantation of a microchip as the means of permanent identification.  The cost to purchase a Lifetime License is $51.00, if productive, and $31.00, if neutered or spayed.

A discounted rate is offered to individuals 65 and older or individuals with certain disabilities.  The cost then would be $31.00, if productive, and $21.00, if neutered or spayed.  If interested in obtaining the Lifetime Dog License, please contact the County Treasurer's office for further details.

Forms can be downloaded from the Cumberland County website and mailed in. Here is a link to the form (click here).
