Invitation to Bidders
The Hampden Township Board of Commissioners, Cumberland County, 230 S. Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050-3097, will accept sealed proposals until 2:45 p.m., June 21, 2013. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on June 21, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., at the offices of Hampden Township noted above by the Director or Assistant Director of Public Works.
2013 Street Pavement Reclamation and Resurfacing Project
Contract No. 2013-03
Proposals must be submitted, along with the Project Manual intact. The Project Manual with completed bid forms and the bid security shall be sealed with proper identification of subject bid on the outside of the envelope. Bid proposals and the bid bond shall be properly executed in ink without alterations and shall not be detached from the Project Manual. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Instructions, specifications, and bid forms may be obtained at the Hampden Township office at the above address from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays or by clicking here. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the bid price.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township. Unless all bids are rejected, the lowest responsible bidder may be selected at a public meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held June 25, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hampden Township office.
