The Board of Commissioners of Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 230 S. Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, will accept sealed proposals until 2:00 PM, as determined by the Township clock, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 for the following:,

Hampden Township Veterans Memorial Park Phase 2B

Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania

The project includes construction of an approximately 38 cubic yard concrete amphitheater with three sets of concrete stairs totaling approximately 9 cubic yards and railings.

Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the offices of Hampden Township at the address above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

All bid proposals shall be properly executed in ink without alteration and shall be complete.  All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount ten percent (10%) of the bid.  The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price.

Bid proposals will be opened at 2:15 PM, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the offices of Hampden Township.  Unless all bids are rejected, the lowest responsible bidder may be selected at a public meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held August 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., at the office of Hampden Township.

If the anticipated project cost is at least $25,000.00, Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required.

The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
