Hampden Township Veteran’s Memorial Park Master Plan
The Hampden Township Veteran’s Recognition Committee, a Non-Profit Corporation, worked with an engineering firm to develop a Master Plan for the creation of a veteran’s memorial park at an 18 acre tract of land owned by Hampden Township. The Board of Commissioners approved the Master Plan concept which is found below.
The necessary funds were secured by the Hampden Township Veteran’s Recognition Committee to commence with the first phase of the project. This was accomplished by fund raising efforts and a generous donation from Pennsy Supply and Dawood Engineering.
In addition to developing the Master Plan and completing Phase I of the project, the Veteran’s Recognition Committee will lead the charge to raise funds for the final design drawings and specifications and the remaining construction of the veteran’s memorial park.
