Forecasted Storm Event for Saturday, June 27

Due to the forecast of heavy rain throughout the day on June 27, residents who have an emergency situation are reminded to call 911.

Motorists are reminded to not drive on any portion of a road which is covered with standing water or posted as being closed due to high water levels.

Additionally, the Township’s Fun Food Fest and Fireworks event has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 28 at Hampden Park and Pool Complex from 5 to 10 p.m.  For additional details about the event, view the following webpage:

Residents and commercial property owners who are experiencing a sanitary sewer blockage or back-up are reminded to notify the Township Roth Lane Treatment Plant at 761-7963 before calling a plumber. Township staff will verify if the sewer main located in the street is open.

Residents are reminded that trees on their property which may be damaged due to the storm are their responsibility to clean up. If a tree falls within the roadway, crews will, as soon as possible, clear the roadway by moving the fallen tree back on to the property from which it fell for safe travel and access by emergency responders as needed.
