Residential Recycling Program

Beginning January 1, 2010, there will be $10.00 charge for replacement recycling containers which may be purchased at the Township Municipal Building.
Collection is once a week on your normal collection day. Please have your items at the curbside no later than 6:30 a.m. on the day of collection but not earlier than 6 p.m. the night prior to your collection day.
The Township's solid waste hauler has announced that residents billed by the Township for trash and recycle services may now recycle the below-listed items:
Aluminum food and beverage containers *
Glass (clear, brown, green) food and beverage containers *
Plastic containers with symbols 1 through and including 7 *
Empty aerosol cans
* Please rinse and remove lids, labels do not need to be removed.
Corrugated cardboard - please flatten and cut into pieces no larger than 3-
feet by 3-feet and bundle
Please bundle or place the following items in paper bags and place in your recycle container
Newsprint/Slick Inserts
Construction paper, cereal and food boxes, paper towel rolls or similar
Printer paper, computer paper, copy paper
Junk mail
Magazines and catalogs
Telephone books
The following items may not be placed in recycle containers:
Wax coated paper
Materials with food debris
Plastic bags
Batteries
Styrofoam
Light bulbs
Mirrors, window/auto glass, ceramics, cookware, bakeware, drinking glasses
Wood
Unnumbered plastics
Coat hangers
Appliances
Hazardous or toxic substances
